Talking to VietNamNet reporters, the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City said that the school has received a number of questions from candidates via email and phone to the admissions department. The school is currently in the process of receiving these questions and reviewing the database system, ensuring that they are resolved in accordance with regulations.

Previously, on social networks, there were many opinions reflecting that the Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City had adjusted the admission conditions announcement, causing candidates with higher scores to still not be admitted. These opinions stated that even though their test scores were higher than the school's announced standards, they were still not admitted to the Law and Economic Law majors because the school had adjusted the admission conditions.

In 2025, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City will enroll nearly 4,600 students, according to the following admission methods: Direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; combined consideration of high school transcripts and high school achievements; consideration of 2025 high school graduation exam scores; consideration of V-SAT competency assessment test results; consideration of high school transcripts combined with interviews (programs with degrees granted by international partners).

The school announced a common standard score converted for all methods on a 30-point scale, ranging from 18 to 23.6 depending on the major. In particular, the Law and Economic Law majors recruit 5 combinations. Of which, 4 combinations only have Math or Literature, one combination has both Math and Literature, which is Math-Literature-English.
