Approving the Regulations on coordination in implementing the Upper Krong Pach Lake Project Phase 2

The People's Committee of Ea Kar district, the People's Committee of Krong Pac district, the Irrigation Construction and Investment Management Board 8, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Traffic Works and Rural Development of Dak Lak province have just unanimously approved the Regulations on coordination in implementing the Upper Krong Pach Lake Project Phase 2.

The Regulations clearly state the principles of coordination in project implementation. Specifically, ensuring democracy, unity, and synchronization in the process of organizing and implementing site clearance and canal system construction in accordance with the law; clearly defining the responsibilities of the focal agency (chairing a number of meetings, reporting, synthesizing, recommending and proposing), and the coordinating agency in each specific work content and task for unified implementation.

The parties are responsible for coordinating and supporting each other in terms of expertise and professionalism, prioritizing the resolution of difficulties and problems, avoiding delays that affect the project's progress. The parties also agree on meeting regulations, information, reporting content, site clearance and enforcement, construction protection, etc.

The stakeholders also agreed to approve the plan to organize the implementation of the Upper Krong Pach Lake Project, Phase 2, according to specific time frames from 2023 to 2026.

It is known that the Upper Krong Pach Lake Project Phase 2 was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Decision No. 3200/QD-BNN-XD, dated July 19, 2021 and approved the project in Decision No. 3422/QD-BNN-XD, dated August 14, 2023 with a total investment of VND 1,120.4 billion, the central budget capital managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The project will invest in the construction of 111 km of canals, clearing about 172 hectares of land.

The parties are responsible for ensuring the site clearance and construction of the canal system in accordance with the project implementation schedule approved in Decision No. 3422, ensuring effective exploitation of the project, and promptly solving irrigation water for the project area of ​​Ea Kar district and Krong Pac district.
