Singer Phuc Anh is loyal to cinematic

On the evening of October 10, female singer Phuc Anh officially released the album Thena, a product that left a strong impression with cinematic music .

Thena album is like a diary about a person's journey. That journey gradually grows with the experiences of adulthood when the girl begins to enter the rebellious stage with the accompanying suffering.

Phuc Anh's real name is Tran Thi Hong Phuc, born in 1992. Her parents work in education and neither of them pursue an artistic career.

However, from a young age she showed her talent and passion for singing. With the support and encouragement from her family, Phuc Anh was determined to pursue a professional singing career, although her parents wanted her to study finance and banking.

She was the valedictorian of the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music and has just graduated with honors. She is also the valedictorian of the Thanh Hoa University of Culture and Arts.

She is known as a student of People's Artist Ta Minh Tam and had an extremely impressive duet with her teacher at the 2022 Mai Vang Awards night.

Possessing a special voice and impressive achievements, Phuc Anh does not follow the popular music style but chooses for himself a very special and new style - Cinematic.

It is known that cinematic is a musical style created by a harmonious blend of many different genres such as Ballad, Pop, Jazz, Rock, classical combined with contemporary... highly evocative, each work is associated with cinematic footage through the skillful depiction of music.

That is also the reason why the public often calls cinematic music. This style has been present in the world since the end of the 19th century, when cinema began to appear and develop.

This is a musical style that is risky because it has a picky audience.

Choosing a rather risky path, Phuc Anh feels happy because this is what she truly likes and wants to conquer in the future.

Phuc Anh confided: "Maybe partly because of Phuc Anh's nature, I don't like to choose to do easy things. From childhood to adulthood, I always choose difficult things to challenge myself. As for cinematic, I've known about it for many years, I've heard about it and found it very interesting. I wonder why no one has exploited it? For many years, no one has exploited it. But Phuc Anh fell in love with it so he decided to exploit it. Actually, we can do cinematic jazz, cinematic pop, cinematic ballad, R&B...

But People's Artist Ta Minh Tam's student is still determined to pursue it because of his passion.

Any genre of music can be made into a cinematic, even pre-war or classical music. The difficulty here is the mindset of the person making it. If you really understand deeply and are passionate about it, you can do it. Cinematic is truly a musical style. And a musical style can be transformed into many genres. It is very suitable for my interest in exploring and discovering. Therefore, Phuc Anh is determined to release many works so that the audience can have a more general view of cinematic."
