Hot reward for forces capturing 2 gold shop robbers in Hai Duong

Regarding the shooting and robbery at a gold shop in Dong Cam commune, Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province, tonight (June 8), the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong province has decided to prosecute the case of murder and robbery; and decided to temporarily detain two suspects.

Criminal detention of 2 subjects

The subjects include Luong Van Dat, born in 1990, residing in Tien Cuong commune and Nguyen Van Doanh, born in 1989, residing in Tu Cuong commune, Tien Lang district, Hai Phong city.

During the investigation, the police determined that: Due to needing money to pay off debt, Luong Van Dat and Nguyen Van Doanh discussed and prepared guns to rob property at a gold and silver store in Kim Thanh district.

At around 8:00 p.m. on June 7, Doanh drove an Exciter motorbike without a license plate carrying Dat to the Duc Nam gold and silver shop in Dong Gia town, Dong Cam commune. When he discovered Nguyen Dang Ninh, the son of the homeowner, standing guard at the shop, Dat used a gun to threaten him while Doanh used a hammer to break the gold display case, taking three necklaces worth more than 50 million VND.

Discovering the incident, Mr. Ninh shouted, Dat and Doanh ran out to the yard, Mr. Ninh held Doanh. At this time, Dat used a gun to shoot repeatedly at Mr. Ninh's chest and legs. After committing the crime, the two subjects fled the scene.

Colonel Bui Quang Binh, Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police, directly directed the investigation.

Mr. Ninh was taken to Viet Tiep Hospital in Hai Phong City for emergency treatment. The victim underwent surgery to remove the bullet in time and is now in stable condition.

Two criminals were arrested 7 hours after committing the crime.

In addition, the Director of Hai Duong Provincial Police also awarded 30 million VND to the Criminal Police Team of Tien Lang District Police and Dai Thang Commune Police, Tien Lang District, Hai Phong City for their assistance and coordination with the force to solve the case.

During the day, the leaders of Kim Thanh district led by Mr. Le Quang Dung, Secretary of the District Party Committee, also presented awards to representatives of professional units of Hai Duong Provincial Police for their outstanding achievements in carrying out the task of capturing the two robbers in the above incident.
