The player has just asked permission to leave the England team for family reasons. According to information from the media in the foggy country, Phil Foden's girlfriend, Rebecca Cooke, is about to give birth to the third child for the midfielder currently playing for Man City Club.

Phil Foden is only 24 years old. He said he will return to the England team's training camp before Sunday (June 30), the day England have a match in the round of 16 of Euro 2024.

Despite topping Group C, England have been heavily criticised. Football experts and fans in the UK believe that Gareth Southgate's team has not been convincing in the group stage.

In response, coach Gareth Southgate calmly said: "I know everyone's reaction, I will give up the boring style of play that the England team has shown."

"England will show a different face in the next round, it's just that at the moment I don't see any suitable team for us to make that change," coach Gareth Southgate affirmed.
