Last missing victim found in flash flood in Duc Long commune - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

After 3 days of searching, on the morning of October 2, all the bodies of 3 workers missing in the flash flood that occurred at the construction site of the Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway Project, Duc Long commune were found.

The last victim was found 4km from the flash flood area.

The victims were identified as: Nguyen Viet Truong (born in 2002, residing in Ba Vi, Hanoi ); Dinh Thi Hai (born in 1989, residing in Y Yen commune, Ninh Binh province) and Ly Le Anh Tu (born in 2003, residing in Yen Lac commune, Na Ri, Thai Nguyen province).

Since the flash flood occurred on the night of September 29, every day, over 100 officers and soldiers have been mobilized, in which the main force is the force of the Provincial Military Command, the militia and self-defense forces of Duc Long and Phuc Hoa communes, the fire prevention and rescue forces, the Provincial Police, construction workers and specialized rescue vehicles have been mobilized at the scene to urgently search and rescue.

The forces brought the victim's body ashore.

Previously, on October 1, the forces found two victims' bodies and on the morning of October 2, the last victim's body was found.

Currently, the authorities are carrying out procedures to hand over the body to the family for funeral arrangements according to regulations.
