Accordingly, the Gia Lai delegation will bring to the 6th Cham Ethnic Cultural Festival in 2025 the unique features of the Cham H'roi ethnic culture in the two communes of Van Canh and Canh Vinh; at the same time, emphasize the deep historical connection with the Champa cultural heritage, in which the ancient Gia Lai land was the capital of Vijaya of the Champa kingdom from the 11th to 15th centuries.
With the theme "Preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Cham ethnic group in the new era", the Cham H'roi artisans and athletes of Gia Lai province will participate in a series of cultural, sports and tourism activities at the Festival.

Cultural activities include: folk art performances (folk songs, folk dances, traditional musical instruments) of the Cham H'roi people; ethnic costume performances introducing costumes in daily life, festivals and weddings.
In addition, an excerpt of a festival and typical cultural ritual of the Cham H'roi people will also be vividly recreated.

In addition to cultural activities, the Cham H'roi athletes will compete in 3 sports, including: Tug of war, stick pushing and football (mini men). Tourism promotion activities will include a community tourism skills demonstration to introduce attractive local destinations.

Gia Lai province's exhibition space will introduce OCOP products, traditional brocade weaving, along with many artifacts and images reflecting the cultural, economic and social life of the Cham H'roi people.
In addition, Gia Lai province will also contribute 20 high-quality photos to be displayed in the common space with the theme "Cham ethnic people accompany the country's development". The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will attend the workshop "Promoting the value of Cham cultural heritage in tourism development".

The festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province at April 16 Square (Phan Rang ward and Dong Hai ward, Khanh Hoa province), with the participation of 6 provinces and cities: Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Gia Lai province’s participation in this event not only contributes to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam in general, and the Cham ethnic group in particular, but also provides an opportunity to promote the historical and cultural values of Champa in the province. This is also an opportunity for artisans and athletes to meet, exchange and raise awareness of preserving traditional cultural values in the context of integration.
