Sophisticated handicraft products with high aesthetic and economic value are being displayed at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) for people and tourists to visit and learn.

The exhibition area with the theme "Redness of Hanoi " organized by the Hanoi People's Committee is part of the Exhibition of 80 years of national achievements, gathering many sophisticated handicraft products from famous traditional craft villages of the capital. Thereby, to honor the traditional handicraft values that have been cultivated through the ups and downs of the history of building and defending the country. Mr. Duong Van Hiep (Mother-inlaid wooden furniture establishment in Chuyen My commune) shared: “I am very honored to participate in this event. This is an opportunity for us to promote our products in particular and the mother-of-pearl inlay craft of Chuyen My commune in general”. “Looking at Chuyen My's mother-of-pearl inlaid products, people will see the sophistication and difference that cannot be found anywhere else,” Mr. Hiep added. Thanks to the quality and brand, mother-of-pearl inlay products of Chuyen My commune bring high economic value. Ceramic products from the traditional craft villages of Bat Trang and Kim Lan (Bat Trang commune) have their own unique characteristics. The characteristics of Bat Trang ceramics are smooth white clay with high temperature firing technique, traditional glaze and sophisticated decoration such as: hand painting, engraving, embossing... The outstanding product of Kim Lan pottery village is the royal glazed ceramic plate, recreating the story of "Nine Dragons and Fish Gathering", the largest in Vietnam. Besides, the bamboo and rattan products of Phu Nghia commune also attract many tourists. Mr. Hoang Van Ha, Dong Da ward commented: “The handicrafts here are very sophisticated, carrying the soul of the countryside, the unique characteristics of each land. I am impressed with the bamboo and rattan weaving, wood carvings and lacquer products”. Lacquer painting set "Buffalo at the village gate - Cat" by artisan Nguyen Tan Phat (Hong Van commune). Silk products of Van Phuc craft village (Ha Dong ward)… … and bronze casting of Ngu Xa village (Ba Dinh ward) also left many impressions in the hearts of tourists. “The beauty of Hanoi” is an affirmation of a capital that not only preserves and cherishes its heritage, but also steadily develops on the foundation of culture, history and people to gradually integrate with the world .
