On the afternoon of September 27, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation worked with leaders of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on the defense industry.
Also attending were Politburo member and Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang.
In recent times, Vietnam's defense industry has focused on developing in an advanced and modern direction, meeting the requirements of equipping, training, building a modern army, and improving the strength, level, and combat readiness of the Vietnam People's Army.
After listening to the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense and the leaders of the General Department of Defense Industry report on the results of leadership, direction and implementation of all aspects of work of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department on defense industry development, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and commended the outstanding results and achievements in the first 9 months of 2025 of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Defense Industry.
Analyzing the context and situation, the Prime Minister directed and promoted research and application of science and technology to develop the defense industry, contributing to the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland./.
