HCMC: Peak of handling violations of alcohol and drug concentrations

On the morning of October 11, in Chanh Hiep ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police organized a campaign to handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations, to contribute to maintaining security, order and traffic safety on the occasion of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, the traffic order and safety situation in the city has been complicated recently. Violations of alcohol and drug levels tend to increase. This is one of the direct causes of serious accidents.

Faced with the above situation, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department directed the Traffic Police Department to organize a campaign to handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations.
