At the ceremony, Tan Dinh ward instructed people to use the application “SOS Security, Order – Ho Chi Minh City Police”. With just one click on a smartphone, people can report urgent information about crimes, accidents, fires, explosions, with pictures, videos and GPS location.

The information will be immediately transferred to the Ho Chi Minh City Police Command Information Center and the relevant ward and commune police for timely handling. After nearly two months of testing, the application has received and resolved dozens of reports, many cases were handled quickly and effectively. The application also integrates utilities such as traffic violation lookup, fraud warning, online camera viewing, quick connection to hotline 113 - 114 - 115.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Ward 8, Tan Dinh Ward, previously people wanted to report on the security and order situation mainly through meetings or phone calls. Now with the new application, people have a more direct, quick and convenient communication channel.
Along with the digital application, Tan Dinh ward launched the "3-in-1 Working Group: Listening - Propagating - Supporting people". The ward established 20 groups in 20 neighborhoods, including representatives of the police, government, the Fatherland Front and organizations, with the task of going to each house to grasp people's thoughts, propagating policies and laws, and at the same time supporting social security, helping poor households and policy families.
Mr. Nguyen Hai Quan, Chairman of Tan Dinh Ward People's Committee, said that the replication of the "SOS Security and Order" model and the launch of the "3 in 1" Working Group model are concrete and creative steps, demonstrating the ward's determination in achieving the goal of ensuring security and order.
