Equipping photojournalism skills for more than 30 reporters and editors

(CLO) On December 14, in Da Lat City, the Center for Journalism Training - Vietnam Journalists Association in collaboration with Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association, organized the opening ceremony of a training course on photojournalism skills.


The course attracted more than 30 reporters and editors from press agencies in Lam Dong, Dong Nai and Binh Dinh provinces. During the two days of December 14-15, students will be equipped with basic theoretical knowledge of photojournalism, including an overview, a redefinition of photojournalism and the differences from regular photo series.

In addition, students will be instructed in photojournalism skills, including basic procedures for making a photojournalism, how to exploit information, compose "key" photos and make a difference for the work.

The training course will also have practical sessions to help reporters and editors practice their skills in taking, processing and editing press photos, thereby improving the quality of press products in line with social development and meeting the needs of readers.

Journalist Nguyen Tien Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of Editorial Secretariat, Head of Media Content, Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper shares knowledge and skills in making photo reports.

This is also an opportunity for reporters and editors of local press agencies to learn and share experiences in their work, thereby improving their capacity and improving the quality of their journalistic works, especially in the photo genre.

The training course contributes to the development of professional skills, aiming at producing high-quality journalistic works, creating opportunities for journalists to participate and win awards at major journalism awards such as the National Press Awards.
