Presenting the Secretariat's decision on personnel work in Hau Giang

Kinhtedothi - On December 27, Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee held the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, term 2020-2025, summarizing the work in 2024 and deploying the work program for 2025. At the same time, the Secretariat's decision on personnel work was presented.

Reporting on the results of the implementation of the tasks in 2024, Mr. Tran Van Huyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Hau Giang province said that the province's economy in 2024 continued to develop in a positive trend, growing strongly with all 18/18 targets reaching and exceeding the plan.

Economic growth rate reached 8.76%, ranking 2nd in the Mekong Delta and 15th in the country. Average income per capita reached over 93 million VND (plan over 88 million VND), increased by more than 14% over the same period, ranked among the top provinces with the highest growth rate of income per capita in the country. Total budget revenue in the area reached 7,520 billion VND, increased by more than 23.5% over the same period, reaching more than 100% of the Central budget estimate...

In personnel work, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has issued 96 decisions to perfect the team of key cadres at all levels in the province, creating resources for the next term of cadre work. Cadre planning is carried out according to the motto of "dynamic" and "open", the quality of the cadre team included in the planning is gradually improved, the review and supplementation of the planning of leadership and management cadres for the 2020-2025, 2021-2026 and the 2025-2030, 2026-2031 terms has been completed.

In his speech, Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hau Giang province said that 2025 is a year with many important events for the country and the nation, a year of special significance, a year of acceleration, breakthrough, early completion of a number of key targets on socio-economic development for the 2020-2025 term; focusing on arranging and streamlining the organization of the political system, holding party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, opening a new era, an era of striving, strong development, prosperity of the nation.

Mr. Thanh requested that Party committees, Party organizations, all levels, sectors and localities in the province continue to lead and direct the drastic, effective, substantive and comprehensive implementation of the goals and tasks for 2025. In particular, organize the implementation of the program and work plan for the first quarter of 2025 right from the first days of the year.

At the same time, implement the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus of agencies and units in the political system of Hau Giang province. Carefully and closely lead and direct the preparation work for the organization of congresses of branches, grassroots party committees and higher-level party committees, especially the localities and units selected as the province's steering points...

At the conference, the leaders of the Organizing Committee of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat to appoint Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trang - Deputy Director of Hau Giang Provincial Police to join the Executive Committee of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The conference also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Hau Giang Province.
