According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the exhibition of booths displaying typical products of the Khmer ethnic group is part of the series of events of the Culture - Sports - Tourism Week to celebrate the Ok Om Bok Festival in 2025, scheduled to open at 2:00 p.m. on October 30 at the Ao Ba Om National Scenic Area. 9 communes and wards with a large Khmer population will participate in the exhibition.
Units, communes and wards closely coordinate in preparing exhibition booths, ensuring richness, diversity, and selection of quality images, clearly reflecting the economic , cultural and social development process of the locality. Displaying artifacts: agricultural and fishing tools, valuable local paintings; wedding dresses, handicrafts, sculptures; displaying pentatonic orchestras, etc. Thereby creating conditions to introduce and promote to tourists the images of Vinh Long people, the unique cultural features of the Khmer ethnic group. The activity also contributes to educating traditional culture to young generations and creating conditions for healthy exchange, entertainment and recreation to unite ethnic groups in the province.
