Tax evasion of more than 9 billion VND, Deputy Director of Bao Trang Ca Mau Construction Company Limited was arrested

On January 8, the Investigation Police Agency of Ca Mau Province temporarily detained Nguyen Van Hai (born in 1979, residing in Khanh An Commune, U Minh District), Deputy Director of Bao Trang Ca Mau Construction Company Limited, to investigate the act of "Tax evasion".

After carrying out the legal procedures, the investigation agency also searched the subject's residence and workplace to collect relevant documents and evidence.

Regarding the case, the Investigation Police Agency of Ca Mau Province also issued a ban on leaving the place of residence for Nguyen Vu Hoang (residing in My Hoi Commune, Cao Lanh District, Dong Thap Province) to investigate the act of "Illegal trading of invoices".

According to initial information, while working in the construction sector, Hai bought sand for filling from barges floating on the market, without invoices or documents.

Hai then bought invoices from companies established by Hoang to legalize, declare and report taxes. Thereby, causing a loss of more than 9 billion VND to the state budget.
