From September 13 to 14, Lai Chau Medical Center coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH), Lai Chau Provincial Police, to organize experiential activities, practice fire fighting and rescue. Attending were Dr. Pham Van Dung - Deputy Director of the Medical Center, Major Dinh Van Tuong - Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department and 200 officials and employees of Lai Chau Medical Center and relatives of officials and employees.
At the fire fighting and rescue experience and practice session, all officials, employees and family members of the Center's officials and employees were given basic knowledge about the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting, causes of fires and explosions, some fire prevention and fighting measures, how to use on-site fire fighting equipment, skills to handle situations when a fire or explosion occurs, escape skills, rescue and rescue, and experienced and practiced activities: Ladder truck; Rescue slide; Air mattress jumping; Rescue rope sliding; Fire handling skills...
At the end of the fire fighting and rescue experience and practice session , Major Dinh Van Tuong highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of the officials, employees and family members of the center's officials and employees, thereby accumulating experience, knowledge and basic skills on fire prevention and fighting safety, being able to proactively and promptly respond to fire and explosion incidents, and proactively develop fire prevention and fighting plans, promptly respond on-site when there is a fire alarm, ensuring the safety of patients as well as assets in the unit.
