Nam Sach Medical Center deploys electronic medical records.

After more than 1 month of trial operation on software systems: HIS, LIS, EMR and PAC software , electronic medical records were deployed at Nam Sach District Medical Center meeting the criteria according to Circular No. 54/2017 and Circular No. 13/2025 of the Ministry of Health. The criteria focus on the following areas: management of medical examination and treatment records, pharmacy, clinical indications, paraclinical, diagnostic imaging, testing, inpatient treatment, hospital fees and health insurance payment, statistical reporting. Specialist II Doctor Tran Thi Thanh, Director of Nam Sach Medical Center said: “Identifying the implementation of electronic medical records is an important content of the unit in the digital transformation roadmap of the health sector. The application of electronic medical records aims to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, manage people's health records, reduce administrative procedures and move towards building smart, modern and effective healthcare. Nam Sach Medical Center has developed a plan, trained staff, completed the information technology infrastructure, coordinated with the software provider and piloted the implementation of electronic medical records in departments and specialized rooms since the beginning of July and has been completed so far.”

After listening to reports, directly surveying and checking the implementation of electronic medical records in some departments of the Center, the Appraisal Council discussed, voted and agreed to deploy electronic medical records to replace paper medical records at Nam Sach Medical Center./.
