Reporting at the meeting, Colonel Pham Duc Nghia, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Region 4 - Hap Linh, stated that after nearly 4 months of operating under the new model, the unit has basically operated in a disciplined manner and successfully completed assigned political tasks.

100% of officers and employees are confident in their work and have strong political will. The activities of the Party, the Central Committee and military work in 2025 were comprehensively implemented in all aspects of work, closely following the political tasks of the unit, completing all assigned tasks well; many tasks were completed excellently. In addition to the achieved results, the report of the Defense Command of Region 4 - Hap Linh also clearly stated the difficulties and problems in the process of operating the new model.

Speaking at the inspection, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung acknowledged the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 4 - Hap Linh in the initial phase of operating the new model; highly appreciated the preparation work, the system of books and documents that were implemented strictly and in accordance with regulations.

The head of the inspection team emphasized that the purpose of this inspection is not only to evaluate the results of the implementation of the tasks, but more importantly, to detect and summarize the difficulties, shortcomings, and creative ways of the units to report and advise the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to promptly adjust and perfect the command and coordination mechanism between levels. The Regional Defense Command Boards are a new model, undertaking a huge amount of work. Therefore, it is necessary to proactively propose appropriate solutions, especially in coordinating leadership and direction, ensuring that local military and defense work is carried out effectively in all situations.

At the end of the inspection, the working group of the General Department of Politics made a preliminary assessment that the Defense Command of Region 4 - Hap Linh had proactively and seriously implemented the orders and directives from above, maintained combat readiness, built a comprehensive system of documents, combat plans, CTTĐ, CTCT, in accordance with regulations, especially in the context of its recent establishment.

The delegation also acknowledged the sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and close coordination with the police and other forces in the area, and pointed out a number of contents that need to be further improved, such as: Further specifying the system of CTĐ and CTCT documents; strengthening the grasp of the grassroots situation; improving the quality of training and political education work and maintaining good forecasting, consulting, and handling of situations, avoiding being passive and surprised. The opinions and suggestions will be compiled by the inspection delegation and reported to superiors in the general conclusion of the inspection.

According to the plan, inspection team No. 1 was divided into two groups: Group 1 was directly chaired by Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, head of the group, and inspected the Defense Command of Area 4 - Hap Linh. Group 2 was led by Major General Nguyen Hong Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel, deputy head of the group, and inspected the 833rd Regiment, Bac Ninh Provincial Military Command in the afternoon of the same day.

Tomorrow, October 24, the working group will continue to inspect and assess the situation at a number of units.
