Thanh Dinh youth stays in the homeland, builds a career

Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in recent times, the Youth Union members of Thanh Dinh commune, Viet Tri city have had good and creative ways of economic development. Thereby, there have appeared more and more typical examples of young people doing good business right in their hometown, practically contributing to building a rich and beautiful homeland and an increasingly strong Youth Union organization.

Mr. Hoang Trong Thai in Zone 4 invested in machinery to open a household appliance factory. After deducting expenses, he earns about 150 million VND in profit each year.

Born into a family with a tradition of carpentry, after being discharged from the army in 2013, Mr. Hoang Trong Thai (born in 1993) in group 7, zone 4 followed his father's career and invested in carpentry. Familiar with the profession and customers, his family's carpentry workshop has grown more and more, equipped with modern machinery, bringing to the market a variety of products: cabinets, tables and chairs, ceiling and wall designs,...

Mr. Thai shared: “Based on the needs of customers, the workshop will create products that meet the requirements of quality, aesthetics, and reasonable prices. The products of the carpentry workshop are not only sold in the commune but also distributed to neighboring localities. Currently, the family carpentry workshop creates jobs for 5 local workers with an income of 9-10 million VND/person/month”.

Thanks to his skillful hands and his quick wit and dynamism, Mr. Thai has now built a decent foundation, maintaining year-round production with a total income of 1 billion VND/year, after deducting expenses, the profit is about 150 million VND/year.

Not only is he good at economics, Hoang Trong Thai is also trusted and elected as Secretary of the Youth Union and Head of the Front Committee because he is always enthusiastic and exemplary in all local movements. As the Chairman of the youth carpentry club, he regularly studies, researches, shares experiences, and encourages and helps club members to develop their economy together.

Also a shining example of the economic development emulation movement in Thanh Dinh commune, Mr. Bui Phu Bang (born in 1990) in zone 5 has built his career in the transportation business. His family currently has 6 passenger cars from 7 seats to 45 seats, meeting the transportation needs of the people, bringing in revenue of 700 million VND/year, profit of about 400 million VND/year, contributing to creating jobs for many workers, promoting local economic development.

Thanks to the favorable transportation service business, Mr. Bui Phu Bang in Zone 5 not only does well economically but also creates jobs for many local workers.

The carpentry model of Mr. Hoang Trong Thai and the passenger transport business of Mr. Bui Phu Bang not only bring economic value but also create a spreading effect, arousing the spirit of striving to rise up, helping the young generation in the locality to have more motivation to start a business and establish a career. In order to solve employment for rural youth, in recent times, the Commune Youth Union has reviewed the needs and sent Youth Union members to participate in job counseling days as well as training and vocational training classes organized by the City Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union; strengthen coordination in implementing activities to support youth start-ups; organize communication activities to raise awareness of young people about careers, jobs, vocational training support policies, and job creation for young people. In 2023, the whole commune will have 18 young people trained to study abroad and export labor to Japan, Taiwan (China), Korea, etc.

Along with that, the Youth Union in the commune has proactively changed careers, developed many industries such as: service business, opening mechanical workshops, growing ornamental plants, general animal husbandry, car repair... Since then, there have been dozens of young people staying in their hometown, building a career to do good business, increasing family income and creating jobs for many Youth Union members in the commune.

Comrade Le Thi Dao - Secretary of the Commune Youth Union said: In order to support the Youth Union in economic development, the Commune Youth Union Executive Committee has actively created conditions for young people to borrow capital to develop production and business, export labor and 120 loans from the Central Youth Union with outstanding debt of more than 1 billion VND. At the same time, maintain the model of Youth Union helping each other contribute capital for production and business in the form of playing the ward, family. Every month, 15-20 Youth Union members are helped with capital from 15-30 million VND to invest in production and business development. Clubs and groups that help each other start a business such as: Youth Ward Youth Union Club, Carpentry Club, Flower and Ornamental Plant Growing Club,... have actively supported and helped each other overcome difficulties and strive to become rich.

Through innovative and creative ways that demonstrate youthfulness, dynamism and pioneering spirit, Thanh Dinh Youth Union has risen up to develop the economy, contributing to building an increasingly innovative and developed homeland.
