O Lam Commune People's Committee organized the first ceremony to grant foreign-related marriage certificates.

On October 13, at the Public Administration Service Center of O Lam Commune, the People's Committee of the commune held a ceremony to grant a Marriage Certificate with foreign elements to citizen Nguyen Thi Cam Tien, born in 1999, O Ta Soc Hamlet, O Lam Commune (An Giang Province) and Mr. Kim Junbo, born in 1986, Gyeonggi-do Province (South Korea).

O Lam Commune People's Committee organized the ceremony to grant Marriage Certificates with foreign elements.

At the ceremony, local leaders sent their congratulations and hoped that the two citizens would regularly contact the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea and the Korean Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City for legal guidance and support when necessary. At the same time, they affirmed that the local government is ready to support and create favorable conditions for citizens in the process of carrying out household registration procedures, especially in cases involving foreign elements.

Since July 1, implementing the two-level local government model, the O Lam Commune Public Administration Service Center has received 1,568 applications (1,466 online applications), with an on-time settlement rate of 92.6%.

In the judicial field alone, 35 marriage cases were received and resolved; 91 birth registration cases; 51 death registration cases; 2 cases of recognition of father, mother, and child; 13 marriage verification cases; 13 correction cases; 1,002 cases of transcripts...
