The Congress announced the decision of An Giang Provincial Youth Union to appoint 29 comrades to join the Executive Committee, 9 comrades to join the Standing Committee of Rach Gia Ward Youth Union, term I; appoint comrade Tran Chi Linh to hold the position of Secretary; comrade Do Van Thien to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Rach Gia Ward Youth Union, term I, term 2025 - 2030.
The Executive Committee of Rach Gia Ward Youth Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, was introduced to the congress.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, Rach Gia Ward Youth Union focuses on implementing 4 groups of targets on propaganda and education ; promoting the role of youth; developing and accompanying youth and children; building the Youth Union, expanding the youth solidarity front, and the Youth Union participating in Party building.
Some important targets are set, such as: Every year, each Youth Union base has at least 1 activity or digital transformation application model to serve the Youth Union's work and the youth and children's movement.
During the term, the Ward Youth Union carried out at least 10 youth projects and tasks associated with building a civilized, green, clean and beautiful urban area, including 2 projects to digitize red addresses and 3 youth projects to protect the environment.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, agree to register to carry out typical youth projects. Specifically, coordinate with sectors to build 5 new Charity houses for union members and youths with difficult housing circumstances, with a total value of at least 250 million VND; coordinate with sectors to organize 5 medical examinations and provide free medicine for the poor.
Along with that, mobilize to award scholarships to 300 poor students who overcome difficulties and study well or more (each scholarship is 300,000 VND - 400,000 VND); support 5 study corners for school teams. At the same time, support 10 young people to do business , with an amount of 10 million VND/youth; build at least 1 project "Lighting up inner-city roads" in the ward.
