At MM Mega Market Vinh, the system proactively increased reserves of dry foods, cooking oil, instant noodles and increased orders for fresh vegetables, meat, and fish to serve customers during the period affected by storm Kajiki.

The number of shoppers increased compared to normal days, especially on the evening of August 24, but there was no widespread hoarding. The most popular products included instant noodles, vegetables, cooking oil, milk and bottled water.

As of the morning of August 25, goods at MM Mega Market Vinh were still fully stocked, ensuring to serve the needs of individual customers and business customers in the area (canteens, factories, schools, hotels and restaurants).

At MM Mega Market Da Nang, shopping activities are stable. In response to the prolonged heavy rains that may increase the demand for online shopping, the center has deployed a transportation plan by truck instead of motorbike to ensure smooth delivery. At the same time, the source of goods has been increased to meet the expected increase in consumer demand during the upcoming holidays.

Thanh Hoa and Dong Hoi Depots serving customer groups including restaurants, hotels, and canteens also increased reserves, flexibly coordinated transportation, ensured smooth delivery, and maintained supply for corporate customers.

In addition to preparing goods, MM Mega Market Vietnam has synchronously deployed many storm and flood response measures to ensure absolute safety for people and property in the eye of storm Kajiki.

As of the evening of August 24, the Centers and Depots in the affected area had completed securing signs, roofs, windows, moving goods, checking drainage systems, and refueling backup generators.

The centers also proactively adjusted their work schedules to limit staff movement during the storm's landing time according to warnings, and prepared evacuation plans and safe shelters for staff and customers if necessary. Emergency communication channels at each Center have been activated, sharing safety instructions in case of storms and floods.
