On the morning of October 5, a representative of Nghe An Electricity Company said that after 6 days of hard work, the unit has now repaired all 16 transformer stations and 41/41 lines of the 110kV grid in the province that had problems due to storm No. 10.
For the medium voltage grid, this unit has also restored 7,291/7,957 transformer stations and 711/712 damaged power lines.
By the morning of October 5, 982,280 of the company's customers had their power restored, reaching a rate of about 90%.

The leader of Nghe An Electricity Company said that currently, restoring the remaining fault points is a difficulty and challenge for the electricity industry because some areas are flooded, the terrain is difficult to access to restore the power grid. However, Nghe An Electricity Company is still implementing the most optimal solutions, making efforts every hour to overcome the problem and restore the uninterrupted power grid system to serve the people.
Previously, storm No. 10 made landfall in Nghe An, causing heavy damage to people’s property and severely damaging the power grid. Hundreds of electric poles were broken, many kilometers of power lines were cut, and many transformer stations were damaged.

Immediately after the storm, the Northern Power Corporation dispatched a shock force of 540 workers from many provinces to support Nghe An Power Company in restoring the power grid. This is an elite force with high skills, good health and a lot of experience in responding to and handling power grid incidents caused by natural disasters. The shock teams are fully equipped with vehicles, tools, equipment, cranes and other specialized equipment.
After seeing the serious damage to the power grid in Nghe An province and the difficulties in repairing it, the Northern Power Corporation continued to mobilize 160 more workers, bringing the total to 700 workers, determined to support Nghe An to restore the power grid as soon as possible to serve the people. Currently, after the problems have been basically resolved, most of the reinforcements have been withdrawn to the northern provinces.
