The history of the Vietnamese people is a long and constant struggle against natural disasters and enemies to survive and develop from the time of King Hung to the time of Ho Chi Minh . Although natural disasters cause damage, compared to enemy invasions, the loss and pain are multiplied a thousand times.

It is from that pain and loss that the will and resilience are forged, always united, creating the strength to overcome all difficulties and challenges, turning loss and pain into strength to move forward. In the customs, habits and beliefs of the Vietnamese people, the souls of the ancestors who fought for the country and the people are always worshiped.

From the South to the North, people built many temples and shrines to always remind future generations of the grace of the ancestors who built this country.

In major festivals such as Hung Temple Festival, Saint Giong Festival, Saint Tran Hung Dao Festival, Dong Da Festival,... held annually to forever honor the great contributions of our ancestors who built, defended, and fought against foreign invaders. The moral of "When drinking water, remember its source" has permeated the consciousness of every Vietnamese family.

In every community festival and death anniversary of grandparents and parents in the family, the first ritual is to commemorate the ancestors who contributed to the establishment of the family.

In the death anniversary and worship ceremony, every family has a separate offering tray for the soldiers who died for the country in a solemn position. Clearly, in the consciousness of all Vietnamese people, the link between the past - present - future history is a strong connection "cannot be cut off, cannot be torn apart". That is the philosophy of life "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree".

Entering the Ho Chi Minh era, that tradition was elevated, elevated, and concretized by the policy of gratitude. July 27, 1947 was chosen by the Party and Government as the day to commemorate the heroes, martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers who did not spare their blood and bones to "die for the Fatherland".

78 years have passed (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025). Every July, in the hearts of every Vietnamese person, we remember the heroes, martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers in the liberation army, Uncle Ho's soldiers who went through fire and bullets to liberate the homeland, regain independence and freedom for the nation, and unify the country. They are great people "Dead is the body, but the elite remains" who deserve to be honored and forever remembered.

Through the two resistance wars against colonialism, imperialism and the southwestern border, Tay Ninh also suffered much pain and loss because this place was two fierce battlefields. Tay Ninh (old) used to be the place where many bases of the liberation army were organized, famous for the Southern Central Office, one of the command headquarters in the resistance war against the US, to save the country. Long An (old) was a fierce battlefield that directly fought the US from the first days when the US army set foot on this land. The eight golden words: "Loyal and brave, the whole people fight the enemy" awarded by the Central Government summarized the loyalty and bravery to the Fatherland, the steadfastness in fighting the enemy of the whole people of Long An.

July is the month when the entire Vietnamese people commemorate heroes, martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers - those who did not spare their blood and bones for peace and national independence.

To show gratitude, today's generation, especially the young, need to renew their thinking and vision, take decisive action, and make strong breakthroughs in the areas that the Fatherland needs in the strategy to bring the country forward into a new era./.
