[Video] Continue to improve the law, build a judiciary to serve the people

Reporting on the 2021-2026 term, President Luong Cuong emphasized the need to continue perfecting the legal system in all fields, promptly removing difficulties from practice; at the same time, promoting judicial reform, building a professional, modern, fair, honest judiciary, serving the Fatherland and the people.

The President assessed that the past term was a special period with many changes in personnel and organizational structure, in the context of a complicated world situation.

Under the leadership of the Party, judicial agencies have strived to fulfill their tasks well, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety, protecting justice and human rights.

During his term, the President directed the implementation of many important projects, including the Strategy for building and perfecting the Socialist Rule of Law State of Vietnam until 2030, with a vision to 2045; at the same time, submitted to the National Assembly for ratification many international treaties, expanding cooperation and judicial assistance.

Entering a new phase, the President requested to continue perfecting the law, reforming the judiciary more strongly, ensuring that all agencies perform public duties strictly and transparently, serve the people, and strengthen people's trust in the Party and State.
