Strengthening parliamentary cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary

On the afternoon of October 20, at the National Assembly House, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man hosted a ceremony to welcome Hungarian National Assembly Chairman Kover Laszlo on an official visit to Vietnam. After the ceremony, the two sides held talks.

Warmly welcoming Hungarian National Assembly Chairman Kover Laszlo, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to and wishes to promote the traditional friendship and good multifaceted cooperation with Hungary, Vietnam's first comprehensive partner in Central Eastern Europe.

The Chairman of the Hungarian National Assembly emphasized that the two sides still have much room for cooperation in economics , trade, investment, tourism, education and training; affirmed that in its Eastward foreign policy, Hungary always considers Vietnam the most important priority partner in Southeast Asia and wishes to further deepen bilateral relations in all fields./.
