Highlights of mobilizing the masses to implement projects

In the commune, many projects with large land acquisition scope have been implemented such as: Thaco Chu Lai Industrial Park (IP) specialized in agriculture and forestry; Tam Anh - An An Hoa IP infrastructure investment and construction and business project; Tam Anh 1 IP; Completion of Vo Chi Cong coastal road; main road connecting National Highway 1A to Vo Chi Cong Street and DT613B Street; Vina Korea IP and many other projects serving socio-economic development with a total land acquisition area for IP construction and infrastructure up to more than 1,300 hectares.

Investing in large projects is an opportunity for Tam Anh commune to develop strongly in the direction of industrialization and modernization. However, many difficulties and challenges are posed to the locality, especially the work of compensation and site clearance so that investors can soon build companies, factories and complete infrastructure.

Mr. Do Van Thanh, an expert of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Anh commune, said that the commune front has issued a plan to organize propaganda and mobilize people in areas affected by the projects.

In reality, during the process of land acquisition for project implementation, most households complied well, but there were still some households that did not understand the legal regulations on land, compensation prices, support, architectural works, resettlement issues... so they did not receive compensation, causing the project to be behind schedule and investors did not have land to start construction.

To resolve the above problems, the Tam Anh Commune Front proactively coordinated with associations and organizations to contact the compensation units, and obtain a list of cases that have not agreed to receive compensation. From there, send officials or prestigious people to each household to meet, propagate, mobilize, record the opinions, questions, thoughts, and wishes of each household and discuss, request the compensation unit to explain clearly to find a solution.

With flexible methods, up to now, the Tam Anh Commune Front has mobilized hundreds of households to agree to receive compensation worth tens of billions of VND, creating favorable conditions for site clearance to implement projects. From the achievements, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Anh Commune is considered a bright spot in the work of propaganda and mobilization of people to implement projects in the area.

According to Mr. Huynh Luong Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tam Anh Commune, during the process of propaganda and mobilization, many households have realized the importance of implementing projects to develop industry, solve jobs in the locality and neighboring areas and many other benefits. From there, people voluntarily received compensation, support, and handed over the site.
