Vinh Phuc organized a task assignment for storm and flood response drills.

Comrade Nguyen Van Khuoc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee chaired the conference. Also attending were Colonel Nguyen Van Xuan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee; and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

In 2023, Vinh Tuong district was assigned to organize a storm, flood response and search and rescue drill on July 21, divided into 2 phases: Organizing preparations to respond to storms, floods and search and rescue; practicing handling natural disaster situations.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Khuoc delivered a speech directing the conference.

Up to now, the District's Organizing Committee for the exercise has decided to establish a framework for the exercise, assign tasks to members; organize field reconnaissance and report to the Steering Committee's standing agency to agree on the exercise location. At the same time, direct specialized agencies to draft the content, including: Schedule for preparation work; practice intention; training plan; plan for symbolic creation; plan for mobilizing forces and means to participate in the real-life exercise and draft preparation of facilities to ensure the exercise...

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Khuoc emphasized that organizing drills is an important task of the locality to improve the ability to coordinate in preventing dangers caused by natural disasters. In order for the drill to meet the requirements, he requested Vinh Tuong district to prepare carefully with the motto "4 on-site". The District Military Agency closely coordinates with the Police and departments and branches to build realistic drill situations. The District People's Committee promotes propaganda among the entire population about the task of organizing drills in particular as well as the task of flood and storm prevention in general. The Provincial People's Committee Office monitors and urges Vinh Tuong district and related units to perform well the assigned tasks.

Immediately after the task assignment conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Khuoc and members of the Provincial Steering Committee inspected the actual location of the exercise in Ngu Kien commune.
