VNPT and the country rise up in the digital age

(Dan Tri) - Strongly innovating leadership methods, affirming the leading role of a pioneering technology group, accompanying the country in rising up in the digital age is the determination of the Party Committee of VNPT Group for the 2025-2030 term.

During 2 days (May 25-26), in Hanoi, the Party Committee of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ) held the 25th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 219 delegates representing the intelligence, unity of will and solidarity of nearly 4,000 party members.

In the 2020-2025 term, with the spirit of "VNPT - Solidarity, Unity, Responsibility", the Group's Party Committee has focused on innovating operations; perfecting the economic management mechanism system; improving the overall operational efficiency, successfully completing the Resolution of the 24th Party Congress of the Group.

Important production and business targets of VNPT set out in Resolution of the 24th Congress have been completed and exceeded.

During the 2020-2025 term, VNPT has successfully implemented many core information technology projects for the Government, ministries, departments, branches and localities. Through these projects, VNPT has affirmed its key role in building and providing digital solutions for government agencies and state-owned enterprises.

In the 2025-2030 term, with the slogan of action "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Party Committee of VNPT Group has set the goal: "Strongly innovate leadership methods, build a clean and strong Party Committee of the Group in all aspects; make breakthroughs in business development; affirm the key role of a pioneering technology group, accompanying the country in rising up in the digital age".

The Party Committee also set out specific targets including completing the revenue growth target assigned by the Prime Minister in the Development Strategy to 2030, vision 2035; striving to achieve revenue targets, especially strategic service revenue during the term, closely following GDP growth; completing profit targets, ROE targets and total budget contribution targets assigned by the owner agency; striving to achieve over 80% of party organizations being classified as having completed their tasks well or better and 95% of party members being classified as having completed their tasks well or better; admitting 600 or more new party members.

The 25th Congress of VNPT Group Party Committee elected the Executive Committee of the Group Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term with 31 members. Mr. To Dung Thai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, was elected as Secretary of the VNPT Group Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
