Determine the 4 quarter-final pairs of the men's volleyball world championship

The 2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship Round of 16 has ended with many surprises and drama. The most notable match was the confrontation between Serbia and Iran, where the West Asian representative created a spectacular comeback.

Despite Serbia leading 2-1, Iran still stubbornly pursued, winning 25-22 in set 4 and then exploding in the deciding set to win 3-2, earning a ticket to the quarterfinals.

In other matches, the US also had to sweat when coming from behind against Slovenia, winning 3-1 after losing the first set. Türkiye made a strong impression with a 3-1 victory over the Netherlands, while Poland - the championship candidate overcame Canada with the spirit of the former champion.

Italy, Belgium and Bulgaria all showed absolute strength with 3-0 victories over Argentina, Finland and Portugal respectively. The Czech Republic also had no difficulty in eliminating Tunisia with the same score.

At the end of the round of 16, the eight teams in the quarterfinals include: Türkiye, Poland, Italy, Belgium, Bulgaria, USA, Czech Republic and Iran.

In the quarterfinals, Italy will face Belgium, title contender Poland will face Türkiye, Czech Republic will face Iran and the USA will compete for a semi-final spot with Bulgaria. The matches in the round of 8 of the world's strongest teams this year promise to be even more tense and unpredictable, on September 24 and 25.
