Gasoline prices increased slightly, similar oils decreased

From 3:00 p.m. on October 16, gasoline prices increased slightly, and all types of oil prices were simultaneously adjusted down.

Specifically, after the adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, E5RON92 gasoline is not higher than 19,226 VND/liter (an increase of 88 VND/liter compared to the current base price); RON95-III gasoline is not higher than 19,903 VND/liter (an increase of 174 VND/liter compared to the current base price).

On the contrary, the prices of oils are adjusted downwards, accordingly, diesel 0.05S is not higher than 18,423 VND/liter (down 181 VND/liter compared to the current base price); Kerosene is not higher than 18,406 VND/liter (down 28 VND/liter compared to the current base price); Mazut 180CST 3.5S is not higher than 14,371 VND/kg (down 437 VND/kg compared to the current base price).

In this operating period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, and fuel oil.

The world oil market in this operating period (from October 9, 2025 to October 15, 2025) is affected by main factors such as: OPEC+ announced an increase in oil production in November but the increase was lower than expected; global oil demand tends to weaken; the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, Ukraine continues to increase attacks on Russia's energy facilities... The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on each product, but the downward trend is mainly.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price management period of October 9, 2025 and the management period of October 16, 2025 is: 76.294 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 0.156 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.20%); 79.062 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.740 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.94%); 85.944 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 0.354 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.41%); 86.462 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 1.198 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 1.37%); 377,872 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 14,824 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 3.77%).
