A clip of a male student beating and dragging a female student in class is causing a stir. His classmates cheered and filmed the clip.

On October 17, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , a leader of a vocational college in Truong Vinh ward, Nghe An province, confirmed that the video clip of a male student beating a female student, surrounded by many male students cheering and filming, happened on campus.

Previously, a video clip more than two minutes long was circulated on social networks, recording a scene of school violence occurring in a classroom.

According to the clip, a male student in a black shirt grabbed the girl's hair, pushed her face down on a chair, and repeatedly punched her in the head. Many other male students around did not intervene but stood watching, cheering and filming. Some male students called the girl a "vegetable seller".

The male student in black held the female student's hand tightly and called his classmates to come and take a clear picture of her face.

The victim was then dragged off the chair by the male student by the hair. The female student resisted and was repeatedly punched in the head and face.

Not stopping there, this male student also dragged the female friend out into the hallway, continued the violent behavior, choked her, and slammed her head against the wall.

Then, the female student was dragged into the classroom by the male student's hair, pressed down on the table, and screamed in pain from being repeatedly hit on the head.

Many social media users expressed outrage at the behavior of the male student and his group of friends, and asked the school and authorities to investigate and handle the matter strictly.

The leader of the vocational college said that the male student in the incident was NVGB (15 years old), the female student who was beaten was NTNL (16 years old), both in 10th grade - the Continuing Education School affiliated with the vocational college.

Initial information shows that there was a conflict and disagreement between B. and L. before.

At around 9am on October 15 (the second period break time - PV), B. from class H2 went to L.'s class H1 and beat L., as the incident unfolded in the video clip.

"Immediately after the incident, the school coordinated with the families to ask the students to write a report, including those who filmed the clip and posted it on social media, so that educational measures could be taken. The police also stepped in to verify and clarify," said the school leader.

This vocational college is also reporting the incident to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training.
