According to initial information, at around 11:00 p.m. on February 17, security guards at Hoang Le Company Limited (located at Hoang Ngan Street, Zone 11, Binh Han Ward, Hai Duong City, Hai Duong Province) discovered a fire breaking out at the company's warehouse of about 1,000 square meters and quickly spreading.

Upon receiving the news, the fire prevention, fighting and rescue police force (Hai Duong Provincial Police) mobilized 8 fire trucks, a command vehicle and nearly 50 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Smoke and fire broke out strongly, covering a corner of Hai Duong city.

By 2 a.m. on February 18, authorities had contained and controlled the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby homes and warehouses and factories.

According to a source from Giao Thong Newspaper, before the fire broke out, Hoang Le Company Limited was suspended from operations because it had not ensured fire prevention and fighting work.
