On land: The North Central region is turning cold. During this cold air mass, the lowest temperature in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An is generally between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius, and in some mountainous areas it is below 14 degrees Celsius.
At sea: Today and tonight (January 3), in the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6, gusting to level 8, waves 1.5-2.5m high, rough seas; in the North East Sea (including the waters of Hoang Sa archipelago), there will be strong Northeast wind at level 6, later at times level 7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 3.0-5.0m high, rough seas.
