Three central provinces let students stay home from school on September 29 to avoid storm Bualoi.

The Departments of Education and Training of Quang Tri, Nghe An, and Thanh Hoa provinces have decided to let students stay home from school tomorrow (September 29) to ensure safety when storm Bualoi makes landfall.

On the morning of September 28, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province issued a document requesting all educational institutions in the province to allow students to take a day off on September 29 to ensure safety in the face of complicated developments of storm No. 10 Bualoi.

The Department also directed schools to urgently inspect facilities, review campuses, and proactively evacuate students and teachers in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and flash floods. After the storm, units must clean up and repair damage to welcome students back to school soon.

The Quang Tri Department of Education requires units to closely monitor storm and flood situations and promptly report incidents and damages for handling instructions.

Also this morning, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province said that students in all schools across the province will be off school on September 29. The Nghe An Department of Education requested schools to develop plans and organize storm prevention to protect school facilities.

Previously, on September 27, the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province also sent a document to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards in the province regarding response to storm Bualoi.

Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training requested localities to develop plans to ensure safety for students, teachers and education managers, in order to minimize damage caused by storms.

In addition, localities need to notify all preschool and primary school students to stay home on September 29 to ensure safety.

From September 30, educational institutions will proactively monitor the storm's developments and post-storm circulation, report to the People's Committees of communes, wards and the Department of Education and Training to decide whether to let students stay home from school (if deemed necessary).
