Early morning of September 30; the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Lai Chau, Ha Giang , Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen had moderate to heavy rain such as: Tan Trao (Tuyen Quang) 44mm, Tan Lap 2 (Ha Giang) 225mm, Minh Lap (Thai Nguyen) 100mm; Ta Tong 2 (Lai Chau) 89mm; Cong Bang (Bac Kan) 44mm,... Soil moisture model shows that some areas in the above provinces are nearly saturated (over 85%) or have reached a saturated state.
On the morning of September 30, the above provinces continued to have rain with common amounts in Tuyen Quang 20-40mm, some places over 70mm; Ha Giang 50-100mm, some places over 180mm; Thai Nguyen 20-50mm, some places over 80mm; Lai Chau and Bac Kan 10-30mm, some places over 60mm.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns of the risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes in the above provinces, especially in the districts: Son Duong, Na Hang, Yen Son, Lam Binh, Ham Yen (Tuyen Quang); Muong Te, Nam Nhun (Lai Chau); Bac Me, Bac Quang, Hoang Su Phi, Meo Vac, Quan Ba, Quang Binh, Ha Giang city, Vi Xuyen, Xin Man, Yen Minh (Ha Giang); Ba Be, Cho Moi, Na Ri, Ngan Son, Pac Nam (Bac Kan); Dai Tu, Dinh Hoa, Dong Hy, Phu Luong, Vo Nhai and the cities of Pho Yen, Song Cong, Thai Nguyen (Thai Nguyen).
