Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directs arrangement and allocation of public assets

On October 23, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung issued a document conveying the direction of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee regarding the management and use of public assets.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with departments and branches to advise the People's Committee to issue a plan to arrange and handle assets, approve plans to handle houses and lands according to authority, in accordance with the new organizational model and the current status of assets after the administrative unit arrangement.

Regarding the equipment of cars, machinery and equipment, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to advise the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to transfer or purchase new cars to equip communes, wards and special zones that do not have cars.

Accordingly, each commune, ward, and special zone has standards and norms for the use of cars for general work, which is at least 1 car. At the same time, review and identify specific contents that have not met the requirements of machinery, equipment, and transmission lines serving the work of communes, wards, and special zones; have a plan to completely handle them in October 2025 to ensure the material facilities serving the work of communes, wards, and special zones.
