Bac Ninh: Replicating the high-tech duck meat farming model

BAC NINH - Bac Ninh Center for Agricultural Extension and High-tech Agricultural Development has just organized a training course on the model "Building a high-tech duck meat farming model, VietGAHP certification, linked with product consumption linkage" in Lien Bao commune.

The training class has 30 trainees who are duck farmers and households who want to learn about high-tech farming models in the province.

During the training period, students were taught by livestock experts the following contents: Introduction to some high-yield meat duck breeds; techniques for care, raising and prevention of common diseases; livestock farming processes according to VietGAHP standards; instructions on linking product consumption, building a safe and sustainable livestock farming chain.

In addition to the theory part, the students had a chance to visit the high-tech duck farming model at the family of Mrs. Le Thi Hai, Vang village, Bac Lung commune and the breeding facility of Hai Thinh Bac Giang Limited Liability Company, Dong Tam village, Hop Thinh commune.

Through grasping theoretical knowledge and visiting practical models, students have the opportunity to exchange experiences, learn how to organize production, manage barns, handle the environment and apply advanced technical processes to livestock farming.

The training course not only helps people improve their production skills but also contributes to increasing the value of poultry farming, creating a source of clean, high-quality products, meeting market demand and aiming at the goal of building advanced, exemplary new rural areas.
