The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity held its 5th meeting

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, chaired the meeting.

In the first 10 months of 2023, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity have led, disseminated, and deployed documents of the Central and the province on anti-corruption and negativity. The focus is on implementing Decision No. 894-QDNS/TW dated June 7, 2023 of the Secretariat on inspecting the leadership, direction, and implementation of Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Party Central Committee on promoting Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation". Focus on the content of promoting the fight against corruption, waste and negativity associated with the leadership and direction of the implementation of Directive No. 26-CT/TW, dated November 9, 2018 of the Politburo on strengthening the leadership of the Party over law enforcement agencies in the investigation and handling of complicated cases and incidents of public concern. Based on the conclusions of the General Secretary, Head of the Central Steering Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, many documents have been issued to direct the synchronous implementation of tasks and solutions to prevent corruption and negativity, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of the province's political tasks. Ensure the progress of inspections, supervisions and audits according to the program and plan; consider and handle responsibilities of violating collectives and individuals. Timely detect and handle corruption and negativity cases, especially cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Steering Committee; Ensure good security and order during the trial of corruption and negative cases occurring in the area.

The Steering Committee has maintained and strictly implemented the organization of meetings and sessions according to regulations; strengthened leadership and direction closely, resolutely and comprehensively in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity. The quality of coordination between members of the Steering Committee in implementing the tasks assigned by the Steering Committee has been improved.

In the last months of 2023, the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity proposed 6 groups of key tasks and solutions to promote anti-corruption and negativity work in the province, contributing to maintaining political stability, ensuring national defense, security and socio -economic development.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Quoc Cuong requested Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies, departments, branches and unions of the province to continue promoting the achieved results, overcoming existing shortcomings and limitations, especially closely following the direction of the Central Steering Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity to continue leading and directing to strive to excellently complete the political tasks in 2023.
