Thanh Nua organizes commune-level sports tournament in 2025

From September 10 to 13, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Thanh Nua commune solemnly organized the 2025 Commune-level Sports Tournament in the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.

The tournament attracted nearly 200 officials, civil servants, public employees, youth union members, students and ethnic people working, studying, working and living in the commune. Athletes competed in 05 sports : Con Tossing, Stick Pushing, Tug of War, 7-a-side Football and Pickleball with 17 events.

The tournament contributes to preserving and promoting traditional cultural identity, creating a playground for exchange and solidarity between agencies, units, schools and people.

The Organizing Committee will award the First, Second and Third prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements. The Thanh Nua Commune Sports Competition 2025 is not only a festival of the mass sports movement, but also contributes to preserving and promoting traditional sports and folk games; improving the organizational, operational and professional capacity of grassroots cultural and sports officials; creating motivation to promote the implementation of criteria No. 06 and 16 in building New Rural Areas.

This is also a practical activity to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; respond to Sports Congresses at all levels, the 12th Dien Bien Provincial Sports Congress and the 10th National Sports Congress in 2026.
