Exciting Street Festival of Northwest Essence Festival - Dien Bien 2025

On the evening of September 20, on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, from the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument Ceremony Ground to Vincom Commercial Center, the Street Festival took place - one of the highlights of the Northwest Quintessence Festival - Dien Bien 2025.

Attending the event were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thanh Do, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee; representatives of international friends from Algeria and Laos.

The opening of the program was the ceremony and art program with special music and dance performances praising the beauty of nature and people of the Northwest. The songs “Invitation to Dien Bien ”, “Beautiful Muong Then”, “Returning to the Festival”, “Radiant Dien Bien” … were elaborately staged, bringing a solemn yet vibrant atmosphere, attracting the audience to immerse themselves in the pride of the Northwest.

Immediately after that, tens of thousands of people and tourists flocked to both sides of Vo Nguyen Giap Street, waiting for the street festival . The performance blocks were arranged according to each theme, each region, taking the audience on a colorful journey of Northwest culture, of national solidarity and international friendship. As soon as the opening drum beat sounded, the street burst into cheers and applause. The colorful performance blocks appeared one after another: the soft Thai Xoe dance, the bustling Mong flute dance, the cheerful Laotian Xao Xieng Khouang ; the energetic Ha Nhi conical hat dance ...

The opening was a community folk dance performance by actors from Dien Bien, dressed in ao dai, red shirts with yellow stars, and traditional costumes of Mong, Thai, Kho Mu, Lao, etc. On the vibrant background music, the groups created a brilliant festival atmosphere, inviting the audience to join in.

The Mong flute dance with its strong, flexible and spirited movements received long applause. The Lao marching group with the cheerful and bustling Xao Xieng Khouang dance also left a deep impression.

The highlight of the closing festival was the traditional Xoè dance and bamboo dance with the participation of many delegates, artisans and tourists. The long arms, the cheerful laughter, the sound of drums, flutes and gongs turned the festival space into a "harmony" of solidarity, exchange and integration.
