Improve the quality of social supervision and criticism

According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, in 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province will continue to effectively implement the Party's regulations and the State's laws on social supervision and criticism in the spirit of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front 2015; Directive No. 18, dated October 26, 2022 of the Secretariat on promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations. At the same time, improve the quality of synthesizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people to promptly reflect them to Party and State agencies; promote the role of the people in contributing ideas to build a clean and strong Party and State. Phu Ninh (Quang Nam): Efforts to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty

In recent years, the authorities of Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province have focused on implementing many measures to improve the quality of life for people, ensure social security; mobilize and effectively use human resources to serve the socio-economic development process in the area.

After many years of construction, the house of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Cam's family has deteriorated, potentially causing safety risks during the rainy and stormy season. In mid-May 2024, Mrs. Cam and her husband were able to build a new house when they were approved for repair support under Resolution No. 13 dated September 22, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council. With the active participation of the entire political system, the joint support of agencies, units, and enterprises, the Steering Committee from the provincial to communal levels has focused on directing, leading, and resolutely implementing the temporary housing elimination program. By March 2, the whole province had started construction of 1,146/1,638 houses for households (reaching 70%). The spacious and sturdy houses built have brought warmth to disadvantaged families, giving them more strength to overcome difficulties and escape poverty. (See details)
