BYD car models expected to launch in Vietnam in 2025
The Vietnamese electric car market in 2025 will be more exciting than ever when BYD - a car brand from China is preparing to launch a series of strategic products, ranging from sedans to MPVs. These models all apply advanced DM-i hybrid technology, targeting customers looking for fuel-efficient, environmentally friendly vehicles while still ensuring strong performance.
Standing out on the list is the BYD SEAL 5 DM-i, a C-class sedan with a modern fastback style, clearly showing the sporty spirit in the design. The car uses a Blade battery with a capacity of 18 kWh, allowing it to travel a pure electric distance of up to 115 km before switching to hybrid mode. With an expected price of about 500 million VND for the standard version and more than 600 million VND for the premium version, SEAL 5 DM-i is expected to be an attractive choice in the low-cost hybrid sedan segment, competing directly with Japanese and Korean brands currently present in Vietnam.
