After storm No. 10, Nga My commune, Nghe An suffered heavy damage due to heavy rains causing flash floods, with an initial estimate of about 55 billion VND. Many houses were flooded, 4 houses were swept away, traffic was seriously blocked due to landslides and many roads were isolated. To date, 5 villages are still isolated due to many landslides.

Five isolated villages, including Cha Hia, Dinh Tai, Na Kho, Na Ngan and Phay, are in a state of isolation, directly affecting the lives of about 2,500 people.

Faced with these difficulties, the Nga My commune government has shown a high sense of responsibility by trying to find ways to access and transport food and essential necessities to people in isolated areas.

However, due to the distance of up to 22 km, mainly walking through the forest, taking more than 5 hours, by the morning of October 19, delivering relief goods to the people encountered many difficulties. However, with the determination not to leave anyone behind, along with the consensus of local people and valuable support from the community and businesses, Nga My commune is doing its best to ensure that people do not lack food./.
