Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper summarizes and awards the first writing contest "Kindness around us"

The "Kindness Around Us" contest was launched in early June 2022, attracting about 200 entries from all over the country. The articles all appear as bright, simple but sparkling mirrors of humanity, love of life and spreading love, spreading belief in good values.

The characters and groups of characters in the entries are all good people - doing good deeds, told truthfully; having jobs, taking actions or running projects and programs that have made valuable contributions to social life; actively contributing to the building of a civilized and humane Vietnamese society.

The final judging panel selected the 8 best entries to award prizes, including: 3 Encouragement prizes, 2 Third prizes, 1 Second prize, 1 First prize and 1 Special prize. In which, the Special prize was awarded to the group of authors Nguyen Tham - Uyen Dao - Phuong Hao with the work "U90 couple cooks free vegetarian rice"; the First prize was awarded to author Yen Lan with the work "The priceless gift of a young man who passed away at the age of 22".

Also at the ceremony, the Vietnam Journalists Association presented the Association's logo to journalist and poet Hoai Vu; journalist Huynh Dung Nhan; and journalist Nguyen Thi Hang Nga.

Representing the honored journalists, journalist Huynh Dung Nhan said that his personal motto in life is very similar to the criteria of the "Kindness around us" writing contest. That is "what is humanity, humanity is the belief in people" - this has been with him throughout 40 years of journalism.

Editor-in-Chief of the Labor Newspaper To Dinh Tuan shared that the "Kindness Around Us" contest in 2022-2023 has attracted articles from all over the country and believes that through the second contest and possibly the next, many groups, individuals, and good hearts will be discovered, thereby continuing to spread in the community.
