Arrest of suspect in case of girl's body tied in sack in Hai Phong

Tonight (June 11), the leader of the Criminal Police Department of Hai Phong City Police confirmed to VietNamNet reporter that the police have arrested the suspect who murdered a girl and put her body in a blue sack and threw it in front of a house in Da Phuc (Duong Kinh district).

Accordingly, the arrested suspect is Hoang Huu Thinh (born in 1980, with permanent residence in Le Chan district, Hai Phong). This subject is the boyfriend of the victim HN (born in 1994, residing in Bac Son ward, Kien An district, Hai Phong city).

Ms. HN divorced her husband 1 year ago and has 2 children. Recently she has had a relationship with Thinh.

As reported, at around 4:00 p.m. on June 10, residents of Da Phuc ward, Duong Kinh district, Hai Phong city discovered the body of a woman in a tightly tied blue sack on the sidewalk on Quang Luan street.

Witnesses said they saw the sack in front of a closed house this morning, but did not think it contained a body. There was a blood stain next to the sack.

After receiving the information, the authorities were present at the scene to block off the scene for investigation.

This evening, the police conducted a crime scene reenactment.
