Election of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030

On the afternoon of October 16, the 18th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term elected the new Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee. As a result, the Congress elected 75 comrades to the 18th Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee with a high concentration of votes.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the 17th City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City, received the highest number of votes.

On behalf of the Presidium to direct the election, comrade Nguyen Van Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the 17th City Party Committee, presented the Personnel Plan for the 18th City Party Committee Executive Committee prepared by the 17th City Party Committee. With high consensus, 100% of the delegates voted to approve the number of Executive Committee members including 75 comrades.

Next, comrade Nguyen Van Phong reported the list of 86 candidates (14.67%) for the Congress to discuss. The delegates divided into groups to discuss and give their opinions on the criteria, structure, results of the candidacy and nomination. As a result, 100% of the delegates agreed with the list of 86 candidates and proceeded to vote to elect the Executive Committee of the City Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

Comrade Hoang Trong Quyet, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Head of the Congress's Ballot Counting Committee, announced the election results. Accordingly, the Congress elected 75 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee for the 18th term, 2025-2030, with a spirit of concentration, democracy and high responsibility.

Also on October 16, after the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030, completed the program of electing the Executive Committee, the 18th City Party Executive Committee held its first meeting to elect the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, key leadership positions of the City Party Committee and the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

At the conference, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, elected the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, consisting of 17 comrades. Of which, comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII, Head of the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation, was re-elected as Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

Comrades Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee and Nguyen Van Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the 17th Hanoi Party Committee, were elected as Deputy Secretaries of the 18th Hanoi Party Committee.

The conference also elected the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee and Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 18th term, completing key personnel matters in accordance with the Party Charter.
