Closing Ceremony of the 1st Regional Banking Industry Sports Congress, 2025

On October 19, the Banking Industry Sports Congress of Region 3 held its closing ceremony for the first Congress in 2025. Attending were comrade Dang Ngoc Hau and comrade Nguyen Minh Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the State Bank of Region 3; leaders of credit institutions of Region 3, along with a large number of officials and athletes participating in the congress.

This year's congress gathered hundreds of athletes, competing in 6 sports : football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, chess and pickleball. The competitions were organized in a variety of ways: In football, athletes competed in men's and women's football according to the 7-a-side football rules. In badminton, athletes competed in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles in age groups up to 40 years old and over 40 years old. For volleyball, teams competed in men's and women's events.

In table tennis, athletes compete in the following categories: men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. In pickleball, athletes compete in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles in the following age groups: up to 40 years old and over 40 years old.

In Chinese Chess, the male chess players compete in groups according to the Swiss system, with 7 rounds. The competitions are in a round-robin format or divided into groups to select the best teams to compete in the semi-finals and finals.

After 5 days of exciting, fierce competition full of noble sportsmanship (from October 15-19, 2025), the athletes competed with all their might, demonstrating their talent and noble sportsmanship, bringing many dramatic and exciting matches.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded first, second and third prizes to the pickleball athletes in the men's doubles competition.

At the end of the Congress, the Organizing Committee awarded the first, second and third prizes to the delegation and awarded Cups and Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to the winning teams in each category; awarded additional prizes to the oldest male and female athletes of the tournament; and the male and female players who scored the most goals of the tournament.
