Closing Ceremony of the 2024 DIY Training Equipment Competition

On the morning of September 20, at Phu Tho Vocational College, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the closing ceremony of the 2024 Provincial Self-Made Training Equipment Competition.

Leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs awarded First Prize to the units.

The contest took place over 2 days (September 19-20) with the participation of 7 units (including 3 colleges, 2 secondary schools, 2 vocational education centers - continuing education centers) in the province with 17 self-made training equipment of 17 groups of authors, belonging to occupational groups in technology, engineering and agriculture and forestry.

The Organizing Committee awarded second prizes to the units.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, this year's competition has demonstrated the creative talent and investment in research of vocational education institutions (VET). The homemade training equipment participating in the competition was carefully prepared, relatively diverse in equipment types, demonstrating the purpose and requirements of the competition and has truly become a bridge between science and training, meeting the teaching needs in VET institutions; there are many devices with high feasibility, can be replicated and applied in practice, helping to increase the efficiency of use as well as economic efficiency in investing in training equipment...

The Organizing Committee awarded flags to participating units.

At the end of the contest, for individuals, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 First prizes to models on LAN Network Experimentation and Construction, Sensor Practice and IOT Application (Phu Tho Vocational College), Industrial Electrical Automation Control Practice Table (Phu Tho College of Technology and Agriculture and Forestry), Hydroponic Vegetable Growing System, Recirculating Aeroponics (Center for Continuing Education - Lam Thao District); 4 Second prizes to models from Hermann Gmeiner Viet Tri Vocational College, Phu Tho Vocational College, Phu Tho College of Industry and Commerce; 4 Third prizes to models from Phu Tho College of Technology and Agriculture and Forestry, Phu Tho Vocational College, Phu Tho College of Industry and Commerce and Center for Continuing Education - Cam Khe District and 5 Consolation prizes.

Regarding the collective, the first prize was awarded to Phu Tho Vocational College, the second prize to Phu Tho College of Technology and Agriculture and Forestry, the third prize to Phu Tho College of Industry and Commerce and 4 consolation prizes to the remaining units.

After the contest, the Organizing Committee and the Jury will select the top-winning homemade training equipment to represent Phu Tho province to participate in the National DIY Training Equipment Contest held in 2025 in Hai Phong city.
