Stepping into Suoi Khoang, we seem to be lost in a peaceful green space, where time seems to pass very slowly. In the bright yellow sunlight, the village appears with simple stilt houses, hidden in the green of the mountains and forests, interspersed with fruit gardens. The stilt houses with unique and sturdy architecture are not only a place to live but also a place to preserve the cultural stories of the people here.
Leaving the noisy streets, visitors are immersed in the spaciousness, watching the silhouettes of Thai girls in their com shirts faintly appearing by the window. From afar, people can hear the rhythmic sound of weaving shuttles in the traditional stilt house, blending with the breath of the earth and sky. Under the roof of the stilt house, Thai girls in traditional costumes, with graceful Pieu scarves, are absorbed in dancing, the soft and graceful xoe dance, creating the unique cultural beauty of the village.

The Thai people in Suoi Khoang not only have a unique cultural heritage but are also blessed by nature with an abundant source of hot mineral spring water, which is good for health, helping visitors fully experience life in the small village.
Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Trang, a tourist from Hanoi, said: I often travel to the Northwest, but this is the first time I have come to Suoi Khoang. This place gives me a feeling of peace when I am away from the city. Being immersed in the Thai cultural space and soaking in the hot mineral water pool gives me a feeling of relaxation!
Coming to Suoi Khoang, visitors not only bathe in the warm water but also discover the unique culinary culture. In the evening, sitting by the fire of the stilt house, with the warmth and sincerity of the local people, visitors are invited to enjoy specialties of the mountains and forests such as fragrant sticky sticky rice, grilled stream fish marinated in the Northwest flavor, strange stir-fried moss or a bowl of cool wild vegetable soup. A cup of strong wine is indispensable, each time the cup is raised, the host sings a charming invitation, making it impossible for visitors to refuse. When the night falls, visitors can also immerse themselves in the dance and xoe dance of Thai girls.

With the available potential and advantages, in recent years, many families in the village have done community tourism associated with the national cultural identity. Ms. Hoang Thi Thieng's family has invested in infrastructure, renovated the campus, houses and purchased some essential items to serve tourists visiting and staying at home. According to Ms. Thieng, doing tourism is to preserve the traditional culture of her people. Therefore, each type of service business at her facility is associated with a unique cultural feature and identity of the Thai people.
Ms. Hoang Thi Thieng, owner of Thuy Thieng homestay, said: Tourists come here most often during the first days of the year, on holidays or on weekends. Most visitors love the natural beauty and culture here. Therefore, we always create close and cozy products and services so that visitors will remember forever and want to come back many times.
To make Suoi Khoang an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists, in recent years, Van Chan commune has promoted and mobilized people to preserve the landscape and environment, create green, clean and beautiful spaces, build traditional stilt houses, and preserve the culture of the Thai people.

Mr. Dao Duy Lam - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Society of Van Chan commune said: Here, there are about 10 households doing homestay and tourism business, creating very good jobs for the people. Currently, the commune is building a development plan to make tourism a key potential of the locality.
Now, Suoi Khoang has become an attractive tourist destination, where visitors can experience the peace and spaciousness of nature and feel the warm, sincere affection of the Thai people - a typical cultural feature of the Northwest region.
